About Mango Languages

Mango Languages is a conversation-based course app in 70+ languages, French included, that teaches vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar and culture together through recorded native-speaker dialogues, with slow and natural pronunciations, a pronunciation comparison tool and spaced-repetition review. Many public libraries and schools give their members full access at no cost; otherwise the US App Store lists $13.99 a month or $119.99 a year after a 14-day free trial. Mango does not publish a level range for French; A1 to B1 is our reading. It suits a beginner whose library card already covers it. It does not give you a teacher or real-speed conversation between natives, so add listening and speaking elsewhere.
